KAVITA DAS GUPTA is a Masters in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics. She has worked with Earthcare Films between 1999-2005 and has made several independent films. Cinema is her first love. A foundation in Sociology gives her, somewhat, the knowledge and skill of looking at societies and social issues. Her interest and expertise lies in finding a bridge between these two ways of looking. She is currently working in partnership with communities, exploring the boundaries of technology to create a new language of film.
